Quality Management
VIA Don Bosco is an NGO approved by the Belgian government. It complies with quality criteria and standards derived from a very strict legal framework and follows internal principles of excellence. A pioneer in quality management, VIA Don Bosco is constantly seeking to improve its work and services.
Internally, VIA Don Bosco has not only developed quality criteria to ensure the best possible monitoring of its actions, but has also trained its teams in quality standards and frameworks. The aim is to check that results are being achieved, to ensure the transparency of the actions undertaken, to reinforce learning and to promote innovation.
In addition to these internal monitoring processes, VIA Don Bosco regularly carries out external evaluations to assess the impact of its actions. These evaluations and the resulting recommendations enable VIA Don Bosco to adjust its activities in order to achieve results and objectives effectively.
VIA Don Bosco relies on an excellent internal organisation to achieve its strategic objectives and implement its actions on the ground. This path to excellence is demonstrated by the fact that it has been awarded several quality labels. In 2011, VIA Don Bosco was the first Belgian NGO to be awarded the “Committed to Excellence” label by the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Doing its utmost to continue improving in this area, VIA Don Bosco was awarded the “Recognised for Excellence 3 STAR” EFQM label in 2021.
