VIA Don Bosco and Schoenen Torfs provide salaries for teachers at the school Maison de l’Espérance in Benin

The school Maison de l’Espérance is a rather atypical, small school in the city of Cotonou (Benin). The school mainly accommodates boys and girls from the neighbourhood who have not obtained a diploma and therefore have few prospects. Through short courses, the school focuses on a 9-month education and a 3-month internship to help the youngsters find a job. Torfs supports the school by co-financing part of the teaching staff’s salaries.
